Born in Texas on March 04, 1939 to L.C. (Joe) and Annie B. Cephus in Kirtley, Texas.

1955

Graduated in 1955 from George Washington Carver HS, in Alvarado, Texas, as salutatorian.

Attended Bishop College in Marshall, Texas until 1957.

1957

Enlisted in the US Army and assigned to the US Army Medical Department.

1958

Married Vera D. Sansom.

1966

Sent to Vietnam

1967

Stationed in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

1968-1972

Assigned to US Army Medical Hospital in Camp Zama, Japan

1972

Stationed in Fort Campbell, KY.

1974

Stationed in Fort Sam Houston Texas

1974-1975

Stationed in Fort Hood, Texas

1975

Received Physician Assistant degree from the US Army Academy of Health Sciences/Baylor University.

Appointed Warrant Officer in the US Army Medical Corps.

1979-1993

Retired from active military service and moved to Houston, Texas, where he worked for the VA Hospital until 1993.

1993-2001

Lived in Richardson, Texas and worked as a PA for Dr. Richard Blackburn.

2001

Passed away on October 11, 2001 at the age of 62.
